When I read this article a month ago, I have no idea that UNIQLO(Japan branches only I think) has so many nice anime-related shirts. Finally something I dare wear out of my house.
Anime t-shirts are a dime a dozen; a lot of them are so terribly-designed... Even from the likes of COSPA, they just paste an 'ok' picture in the middle of the shirt, then think it's cool. WTF. Are they really serious? Cool |

Why are these shirts that bad u might ask? First, you don't need "introductions" for the characters you are wearing(by putting the names/the show's title), if the people doesn't know, they probably aren't your intended audiences(to show off your new shirt to). Having names there spoilts the design... should be avoided, even in japanese(YES NO ENGLISH/ROMANJI). Imagine the Saber without the words "FATE STAY NIGHT". Words are fine actually, if done cleverly... like the "Wa~fu" on the pic above..... "Revenger", "Bleach"... alamak... pls spare me!

My new phone, Defy!

Been wanting to get a sparking new smartphone to replace my antique HP iPAQ for quite sometime now. Windows 7 is so young; not a lot of apps at the moment, thinking of trying Andriod or even Apple. Considering Desire HD for a few weeks, when Defy came in the picture... wt* water proof?!

It is cheaper, lighter, smaller than Desire HD. The ultimate headache for anyone choosing a phone - Good and cons with being smaller, smaller screen, but one thing it is not going to be a huge bulge on the pocket. So it has been a week since I got it, and hell its addictive! It can be such a time-sinker! Because the mobile plan I'm using on it is unlimited(data), I am almost fiddling with it whenever I have a spare moment! There are so many things I can do on it... until the battery gave in :) There are (tens of) thousand of apps on Andriod Market. Games(angry birds, majong, poker, etc.. even RPGs), manga reader apps, anime video apps, crunchyroll, news apps(regular news/tech news/jap news, ), facebook, mail client, language learning/translation tools, youtube... Hardwarezone review Top 10 android setup tasks for a new android user Master Google Android: 40 Tips and Tricks I think it will be quite cool using it in the rain, when everybody else is keeping their phones away  LOL! Come on, rain!

This post is not about anime, but on a super long Taiwan soap opera drama series - 台湾龙卷风 - Taiwan Tornado. I won't think I would be attracted, and many times it is horribly draggy, but strangely I am hooked! 不思議だ!
And here is my favourite actress from the show - 方岑! I almost never associate with antagonists but she is just so pretty and brilliantly evil! Hmmmmmm or maybe its because just before Maggie died in the show, she looks so pitiful in her wedding dress - that made me ache..  But the producers still can have her "identical" sister carry on with the show to exact vengeance! Muhaha! She's invincible!

Oh dear, I am so sorry this blog looks dead. Not for anybody's sake, but really this is some kind of diary (public) I've been keeping (thats what I initiallly started it for), that I can after 10, 20 years later, have some form of memories. But as with every 'life'/'organism', there is its ups/downs, evolution, reaching its peak, then extinction. Sad, I guess it is very very common after some time, because of everyone's most popular excuse, NO TIME, which many blogs die from. And the second most popular excuse is 'novelty lost'. I am suffering from both :)
But oh well I decided to write today. This bluetooth headset looks nice, I've not gotten to own a bluetooth headset yet, probably not really necessary. And for every additional electronic device u bring on the road, one more worry to keep them 'charged up'. Not so much of convenience, I see it more of a fashion accessory. And they all look so generic nowadays on the streets that this one particularly caught my eye when I saw it... |

Wha! Singapore is getting some unfair advantage that might cause non-sg fans cringe in jealousy. As if annual AFA (I think it should be called Anime Festial Singapore instead) held here is not enough, we have screening of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - A Wakening of the Trailblazer". "For the first time ever in Singapore’s history, you will be able to catch the same time screening of an Anime movie on the same day as Japan!" And from the same site, very likely "The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi" soon, too! We should treasure this opportunity to show support, if we want more anime movies coming to our shores. When they(industry) sees a demand, everything is easier. Anyway, the promoter for this event is our poor ODEX. In a way, Singapore is special. Only in SG would you find a company being criticized/slammed/received-death-threats/site-hacked for protecting its own interests. And the all pirates acted like they are in the right! It is like e.g. after a bank robbery, criticizing the police for violence/human-rights-violation when the bank robbers put up a struggle. I mean man, then what do you expect them to react? They bought the licence to the shows, and everybody is downloading off torrents. Irony that we are holding the AFA annually. HAHaha.. |

And more AFA X updates! Yoshiki-san really brought the whole JAM PROJECT here! The performing artists just kept increasing every year! The pricing of tickets are out, and AFA facebook says it should be available for sale in a few days time. Time to go broke
