If you're in Japan on April 24th, you'll be able hook up with a copy of Evangelion 3.33 on Blu-ray or DVD. But, if you're single and over 20, you may also be able to hook up with a date. Linkbal has planned Evangelion Connection events in Harajuku, Tokyo and Osaka around the release, then in Shibuya on May 4th.
Basically, as advertised, Eva Con is your chance to meet a fellow Eva enthusiast under optimal circumstances for synchronization. Maybe get a drink together at a participating restaurant . Maybe find love. Maybe be happy until Second Impact really screws everything up.
Unlike a lot event that charge women less, this one is 4,950 ($50) a ticket regardless of gender.
