Something not too pleasant

One of the tech industries best kept (dirty) secret. Very sad. Almost all of us have no idea, with all the technology around us that we take for granted, myself included, before this video.

Not actually cool(by my standards), this is Jay's first Hollywood break. Thought he was doing Ip Man 3? But I kinda like his accent on : "Want to see something cool?". (Jay's magic ) What? Stephen Chow was initially planned for KATO(Jay's role)? This alone is making me laugh already! Imagine superimpose Stephen Chow with Jay in the trailer! LOL~! Hmm the trailer, it doesn't even come across as average. The protaganist doesn't have deep enough "ah-I've-come-to-my-senses-to-do-good" expression with the likes of Spiderman or Ironman. Oh boy, poor Jay. I just can't see this breaking box-offices.

YOG Pre-paid cards

Prepaid cards わ庶民のみかたです! For Otakus who don't have credit cards, these are a saver to buy that online figurine/CD/DVD, etc...

If it is Yui or Ritsu on the cards, I would get it...

Actually I like credit cards quite a lot (nevermind it has landed quite a few of my friends in trouble ). These little plastics are cool and convenient, and almost everyone of it sports a very nice design. I googled a little and found quite a lot of very nice designs not found in Singapore, Olympic related..

This is not credit card, oh well.. Fuwa also sounds Japanese, don't they?

Genting trip

This is my first (real) vacation with my family in more than 6 years, even if it's Genting, I'm excited! I somehow feel apologetic now, using "even if it's Genting", because Genting has become quite a different place from where I've been to before. It's become so big, even the indoor area is like a small city by itself! I kept getting lost while walking around, and a lot of stores have they added! I didn't even get to the outdoor theme park during my short 2 days there!

You buy one of these cards to go into the "Karaoke boxes", to use them like any other arcade machines

For chinese songs, they have their original MVs!

The interface program, as you've seen is ar....ahem. They have Malay, English and Chinese songs. NO Japanese songs! It's RM2 a song btw. For that instant Karaoke relief!

The Studio K Family Karaoke (not much info on the net) shown in the first pic, is the more commonly found karaoke outlet type. It's basic rate is RM80/session, I also forgot, something like that lah Didn't get to try it out, maybe next time with friends.

The special 'token' that you have to change at the counter. Each of this costs RM4. There are 2 separate machines, one is based on EVA1.0, the other EVA2.0. The EVA2.0 machine needs 3 tokens for one capsule, while the EVA1.0 needs only one.

You could save some money, and some inconveniences even, if you do some research beforehand. Malaysia's Xpax prepaid cellphone service is really affordable, at RM9 for a starter sim card with RM5 value. Additional top-up cards can be bought at RM10(minimum). If you had a smartphone (or a 3G dongle to attach to your laptop), you could get connected for RM6 a day (you would probably spend more than that at cyber cafes in an hour or two). Settings for dongle: The APN name for Celcom Broadband is “celcom3g” and the number to dial is *99#.

When I saw this Kaeru magnet, I just have to buy it for Misaka. Hmmm problem now is, how do I get it to her?
